Elen Brandão Dance School was founded in August 2007 by Brazilian dance teacher and artistic director Elen Brandão van Weegen.
Based in Bothwell, Elen Brandão Dance School offers Ballet and Jazz classes for children from 3 years old onwards.
At our school we follow the B.A.T.D (The Bristish Association of Teachers of Dancing) syllabus for Ballet and Jazz classes. B.A.T.D. certificates are validated by C.D.M.T (The Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre).Our teaching style is to give the students an environment in which they can have fun, be creative, express their emotions, while always focusing on excellent dance technique.

We are committed to teach the art of dance in a nurturing, respectful and non-competitive environment focusing on our students' skills and individual needs. All dance teachers working with the dance school are part of the PVG Scheme (The Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
